Micromax has recently added two new handsets in its popular and affordable bolt series i.e Bolt S300 and Bolt D320. These both phones will support 3G service, Bolt S300 will be available at the tag of Rs 3,300 while there are no words on the price of other smartphone.
Both the phones boast quite appealing design and will be available in black color. Good news for Vodafone users is that it will offer free data plans for two months. Speculations are around that they will be available in stores from Mid-April.
Mr. Vineet Taneja , Chief Executive of Micromax said that in India there are mere 10% of the mobiles users which uses 3G technology. By launching these two handsets Micromax is stepping forward to make this 3G technology more affordable and accelerate it further. These handsets are designed such that they are a good blend of fast speed, large display screen, decent camera quality and battery life.

Bolt S300 is a 4” display delivering screen resolution of 480X800 pixels. It will run on 1GHz single core processor which is based on SC7155 chipset. It will operate on Android Kitkat 4.4.3 out of the box. Single core processor may sound disappointing but Android Kitkat V4.4.3 clicks the right chord as many of the handsets below Rs 4000 still operates on out dated android version. The processor will be coupled along with 512MB of internal RAM.
Micromax bolt S300 sports 0.3MP of both rear as well as front camera. It bears 4GB of in-built storage out of which 1.28GB is available for mass storage and 1.20GB is available for storing applications. One gets expandable external memory which will be expandable up to 32GB with the help of MicroSD card slot. It also accommodates motion sensors.
It houses 1200mah battery which claims talk time up to 4.5h and stand by time up to 155h. it includes connectivity features like Bluetooth 2.1, WiFi, 3G, 2G etc. As connectors, it proclaims 3.5mm ear jack with MicroUSB. Other applications which it has in stores for the users are: M! Live, Housing, Reverie, Snap deal, Chaatz, Newshunt, paytm, Quikr etc.

Bolt D320 on the other hand sports 4.5” FWVGA Display (480X854 pixels). It is powered by dual core processor which is clocked at the frequency of 1.2GHz. The processor is coupled along with 512MB of internal RAM. It functions on android 4.4.2 Kitkat out of the box.
It claims 3.2MP of rear snapper along with features like LED Flash. Front camera is of 0.3Mp which can be used for clicking selfies. To store all your favorite images, songs, videos or applications, it bears 4GB of internal memory with external memory expandable up to 32GB.
It houses 1600mah battery which we expect to deliver decent talk time and stand by time. For connectivity options, it will offer feature like 3G, Bluetooth, WiFi etc.
